Halva V"yacheslav Anatoliyovych was the militia officer of the 1 st Division of the 1 st Platoon of the 1 st Battalion of the Patrol Service of the Special Police "Azov" of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Donetsk region, ordinary militia officer.
He was born on 4 January, 1973, at the Bezryachnaya Station, Oliviansk District, Chita Region, Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (now - Trans-Baikal Region, Russian Federation) in the family of a serviceman. Later he moved to Cherkasy with his family. In 1990 he graduated the secondary school №23 of the city of Cherkasy (now - Cherkassy College "Bereginya").
He was in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the USSR / Ukraine since 1990. In 1994, he graduated Kiev high-general commanding school. In 1994-1996 he served as the commander of a special purpose reconnaissance group special purpose company of the Precarpathian Military District, and in 1996-2010 he was assigned to the 10th special detachment of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (military unit A2245, the city of Kyiv) where he passed the path from the commander of the group to the deputy commander of the military unit of combat training, headed the department of instructors.
He had the following special courses and programs: Special training in the Counter-Terrorism Group under the FBI Program within the framework of the exchange of experience between Ukraine and the United States of America; In 2002, training on autonomous action at the rear of the enemy at the Commando Training Center (France); Preparation at the Center for Demining (Kamyanets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytsk region), having received the status of commander of the mine level 2nd level; Survival course in mountainous forest and at the Sea at the Air Force Training Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Sudak city of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea); the course of emergency medical aid in emergency situations at the Center for Disaster Medicine (Kyiv), having received paradedical instructor status; a special training course for snipers (sniper action in a counterterrorist operation in the city) under the guidance of the instructor of the SAS Special Forces in Great Britain. He has repeatedly participated in international competitions for special training in Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Italy.
In the years 2000-2001 and 2002-2003, he was the member of the United Nations peacekeeping force, which served in the Republic of Sierra Leone. In 2009, he participated in the operation to release the Ukrainian "Faina" ship with a crew and military cargo seized by Somali pirates.
In 2010, Colonel Halva was released from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He lived in Kiev. He worked as an instructor of combat training and krav mag, engaged in the training of personal security guards. From 2013, he became a regular consultant-developer of professional 1 group (a network of military stores P1G-TAC®), led the development and testing team Kuzmych, engaged in the development and testing of the modern military equipment.
With the onset of an anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine, he volunteered to the front. He applied his vast experience in training volunteers of different units at a fast rate. He was assigned to the post of police officer of the 1st division of the 1st platoon of the 1st company of the Battalion of the special police headquarters "Azov" of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Donetsk region. Callsign "Kuzmych". He was preparing for the training of the battalion "Azov", with whom he participated in the combat operations.
On 25 August, 2014, the reconnaissance unit of the Azov battalion, which included Halva V"yacheslav, blew up the enemy‘s tank and first entered the city of Novoazovsk, Donetsk region.
On 26 August, 2014, Halva V"yacheslav died on the way to the base of the Azov battalion "Azov" (village of Urzuf, Pershotravnevyi (now - Mangush) District, Donetsk region) as a result of subversion of the car on the mine. According to other sources, he died on the basis of the Azov battalion in the village of Urzuf as a result of a grenade‘s explosion, covering it with his body.
On 28 August, 2014, he was buried at the Berkovets City Cemetery (site 45) in Kyiv.
He was awarded with medals of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and UN medals.
The parents, the brother, the wife and four sons are left.
On 19 May, 2015, in the city Cherkassy, at the building of the former secondary school number 23 (now - Collegium "Bereginya", Khomenko street, 14/1), where he studied, the plaque was established for him. By the order of the mayor of Cherkasy on 22 February , 2016, Rudnev Street in the city of Cherkasy was renamed to Halva V"yacheslav Street.
In April 2016 a corner of glory devoted to Halva V"yacheslav appeared in the city of Cherkassy in the training room of the out-of-school educational institution "Club of young sailors with the flotilla" (Shevchenko street, 298). The exposition includes his personal belongings, items of equipment, military ammunition, and others like that. In August 2017, in honor of the Hero, the training vessel Cherkasy "Club of young sailors with the flotilla" - boat "Kuzmych" was named.
