Rava Andriy Ivanovich was the commander of the division of diesel cars of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, junior sergeant.
He was born on 29 February, 1992 in the village Futory, Zborivsky District, Ternopil region. He graduated the primary school in the village of Futori, the Zborov high school named after Roman Zavadovich, and in 2010 - Zborivsky College of Ternopil National Technical University named after Ivan Puluj, specializing in maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and engines.
In 2010-2011 he was in the regular military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the winter of 2013-2014 he was on the Independence Square in Kyiv, where he was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity.
On 25 March 25, 2014 he was mobilized in the armed forces of Ukraine. He served as the commander of the diesel-car division of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2167, the city of Bila Tserkva of the Kyiv region).
From 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. He was wounded by a splint in the eye. He was treated in the city of Ternopil, after treatment he returned to the front again.
On 4 October 4, 2014, the younger sergeant Rava died in a battle near the village Nikolaevka in the Volnovakha district, Donetsk region.
On October 10, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village Futory, Zboriv district, Ternopil region.
On August 23, 2015, in the city of Zboriv, Ternopil region in the gymnasium named after Roman Zavadovich (5 Bogdan Khmelnytsky Street), where Andriy Rava studied, the memorial plaque was established.
