Vorobyov Andriy was the gunner of company paratroopers 25th separate Airborne Brigade highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, soldier.
He was born on 9 August, 1980 in the city Krivyi Rih, Dnipro region. He graduated the secondary school №11 city Krivyi Rih and Krivyi Rih College of Economics and Management (now - Krivyi Rih College of Economics and Management of State higher education institution "Kyiv National Economic University") in the specialty "technologist catering."
He passed the military service in the reconnaissance battalion of the 25th separate airborne brigade Dnepropetrovsk Airborne Forces Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1126, towns Guards Novomoskovsk rayon).
Since 2007, he worked as a manager in the construction and economic hypermarket "Epicenter" in Krivyi Rih.
On 24 March 2014 he was mobilized in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a machine gunner company of paratroopers 25th separate Airborne Brigade highly mobile airborne troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (A1126, Hvardieske Novomoskovsk district).
Since 2014 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 18 January, 2015 soldier Vorobyov was killed during a combat mission near the village Spartak Yasinovatskiy district, Donetsk region.
On 22 January 2015 he was buried in the central cemetery in Kruvyi Rih.
He was awarded the Order "For courage” III class (17.7.2015, posthumously).
The wife and two sons are left.
On 13 October, 2016 in Kryvyi Rih on the facade of the building (Spivdruzhnosti Street, 96), where the hero lived, the memorial plaque was established.
