Balyuk Mykhaylo Borysovych was the nurse 7th individual health company car Armed Forces of Ukraine, soldier.
He was born on 18 September, 1989 in the village Mikulin, Polonsky district, Khmelnitsky region. In 2004 he graduated 9th grade of secondary school in the village Mikulin, 2008 - Higher professional school №38 village Grytsiv, Shepetivka district Khmelnytsky region.
He passed the military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the service he worked at the plant Slavutsky "Budfarfor" Slavuta Khmelnitsky region.
In July 2014 he was mobilized in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 7th individual automotive sanitary mouth Ukraine‘s Armed Forces (military unit field mail V2581 city Khmelnitsky).
Since the summer of 2014 he took part in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine.
On 9 February, 2015 the crew of ambulance 7th individual automobile sanitary companies, which included Michael Baluk and Anatoly Sulima, along with medical assistant Sergei Katsabinym, left the position of "Cross" (city Debaltsevo Donetsk region) to evacuate the wounded to the city Artemivsk ( now - Bakhmut) Donetsk region. On the way to the city, near the village Logvinova, Artemivsk district, an ambulance came and drove into an ambush on mine (according to other sources, she hit a shot with antitank grenade launcher). The blast killed four soldiers, including Balyuk Mykhaylo, one of the wounded managed to escape, was thrown from the car blast.
On 26 February 2015 he was buried in the cemetery of the village Mikulin, Polonsky district.
He was awarded "For Courage” III class (15.5.2015, posthumously), Order "National Hero of Ukraine" (24.07.2016, posthumously).
On 29 May, 2015 in the village Mikulin, Polonsky district on the facade of the building of secondary school (street Lesya Ukrainian, 37), where Balyuk Mykhaylo studied, the memorial plaque was established. On 21 January, 2016 in the village of Grytsiv, Shepetivka district on the facade of the building Higher School №38 (University Street, 10), where Balyuk Mykhaylo studied, the memorial plaque was established.
