Ovcharuk Maksym Valeriyovych was the driver of automotive division 1st separate company named Pirogov medical Northern Territorial Kyiv Administration of the National Guard of Ukraine, reserve soldiers.
He was born on 19 May, 1976 in Lviv.
In winter 2013-2014 years he was in Independence Square in Kiev, where he was an active participant in the Revolution of dignity. Member of the NGO "Slaves are not allowed to heaven."
On 15 January, 2015 he voluntarily joined to the 1st separate company named Pirogov medical Northern Territorial Kyiv Administration of the National Guard of Ukraine (military unit 3001, Kyiv).
By his own funds Ovcharuk Maksym purchased and donated two cars first individual medical mouth behalf of Pirogov National Guard of Ukraine.
Since the end of January 2015 he took part in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Name "Tarpan".
On 9 February, 2015 medical team of doctors separate company National Guard of Ukraine as a part of medical and health armored car left the city Artemovsk (now - Bakhmut) Donetsk region towards the town of Debaltsevo, Donetsk region, met the medical crew Armed Forces of Ukraine (Anatoliy Sulima, Mikhaylo Balyuk and assistant of the National Guard of Ukraine Serhiy Katsabin), with which they lost the connection. Around 18:30 hours near the village Logvinova, Artemivsk (now - Bakhmut) Donetsk region medical vehicle, in which were Lahunov Dmitro and Vasily Zadorozhnyy, hit a mine, then team doctors came under fire sabotage and reconnaissance group of Russian-terrorist groups. During the battle there killed four doctors, including Maksym Ovcharuk that from the moment considered missing. Only after 1.5 months after the battle, Maksym Ovcharuk body was identified through DNA examination.
On 26 March, 2015 he was buried on the honorary burial №76 Lychakiv cemetery in Lviv.
He was awarded the Order "For courage" III class (28.6.2015, posthumously), the Order of "National Hero of Ukraine" (23.06.2015, posthumously).
The wife and two sons were left.
